Description: Back in 2003, we created Throwaway, our first publishing experiment here at Sidedown. It was decidedly lo-fi, a total Kinko's job, to be certian. It was highly collaborative, with sixteen artists and authors contributing poems, cartoons, photos, short stories, and mixed media artwork to the zine. We printed up a sold a bunch. Five years later, I've got one left... this is it!
The page registration totally sucks and the table of contents was stapled in after the fact because we forgot to add it in before printing... ultimate LO-FI action! It's a fantastic artifact and despite its humble appearance is a terrific read. If you're a zine collector or just really like indepedent publishing, you'll want to pick up this gem.
